A wild mushroom. Short lifespan but beautiful. Do you know what this particular mushroom is called?

Captured with a mobile device.

We humans can be beautiful subjects for macro photography as well. That's the close-up of my eye. Oh well. Had no one else with me and was eager to try it out, a mirror was all I needed to see what I got.

A slow motion video snap of a insect (possibly the black aphids on Tulsi leaves I posted earlier) with a shell (does black aphids develop shells?)

This was posted in my Mobile Photography collection, and re-sharing it here for the followers as this too is macro photography

Check this post for the black aphids I clicked earlier which looks related to this - https://plus.google.com/+DeepakKamat/posts/AbTVNL1C2ok

Dried out moss on a brick wall (check collection for when it was still green). Looks like a place from a sci-fi alien movie from this close.

A small white flower. All alone on the ground, still blooming. It may look like a white peck of dust on the grass, but when you take a closer look, it comes to tell you a whole different story.
