Girls in Castle Tunnel ‪#‎lagos‬ ‪#‎portugal‬

The house of a Romani family the former Papeteries étienne paper mill, Arles, France. A young man asked me to look inside, I walked trough to the kitchen behind the curtain. The walls were covered in old french wallpaper of little town scenes.

The small buildings belong to the disused paper mill, probably the workers housing. Now occupied by Romani families who welcomed us as we walked to and from the "Night of the Year" the photography experience of the +Les Rencontres de la photographie, Arles 2015

Taken in #Arles at the #Photography festival. I used a flash for this, I regularly use a flash during the day though very rarely for interior shots. It's only small, fit's into the palm of my hand, on my Olympus Pen, but the extra burst of light makes all the difference.

Back light is my favourite light getting together some back lit images for a collection

This is my husband on Newhaven Beach

One of my first images with my new +Olympus OM-D  . Went to London to see +Photo London  at +Somerset House . Been looking for a carry around that can handle bight highlights and low light. Went into London Camera Exchange Group​ the strand and came out with this, shame I didn't have it the day before for Don McCullin. It's passed the highlights test . Tricky one this with the dark room and the bright sky, so far so good :)
