Welcome To All About Android
Starting today I'm going to start using specific hashtags to make this Google+ Collection a bit easier for all of you to navigate through and to find things.
Below is the list of specific hashtags that I will be using for this Collection. If you're looking for something specific within this Collection, simply click on or search for that hashtag and it should pull up everything that's been posted using that hashtag.
Android Apps: #CW_AndroidApps
Icon Packs: #CW_AndroidIcons
Android News: #CW_AndroidNews
For now there's only these three and I will be going through all of the previous posts and adding the correct hashtags to them.
If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or anything else related to this Google+ Collection, please don't hesitate to reach out to me and talk to me about whatever it is you'd like to discuss.

Series 6 Android Minis by +Andrew Bell and many others are without a doubt my favorite series to date. Absolutely love the design and idea behind them.
Beatbot 1200 is my favorite of the set.

Updates For Mobile G+ Users
Some good updates coming to the G+ app for both iOS and Android users.
Some good updates coming to the G+ app for both iOS and Android users.
Several Android and iOS updates
Hey Plussers, I have a few mobile app updates to let you know about which are coming over the next few days, I hope you enjoy them:
Delete, report, block with the option to delete recent comments will be arriving on Android and iOS. This is the mobile version of the web feature we announced a while back: plus.google.com/+LeoDeegan/posts/W41tDQy1gj1
Ban community member post option will be arriving on iOS. This feature is already on Android and Web.
Prioritized plus-mention suggestions will be arriving on Android. This feature prioritizes post owners and commenters in the plus-mention auto-complete suggestion list. This feature is already on iOS and Web. In addition, we will be improving the overall auto-complete suggestions in general on all three client platforms.
White top navigation bar (you may have already noticed) is rolled out to Android, replacing the red bar, which matches iOS and Web.
In addition, we're continuing to investigate and improve memory and performance of the new Android app that we recently launched (plus.google.com/+LeoDeegan/posts/JyiKjbArhrH).
Cheers, and, incidentally, I'm not actually blocking Steven, he's a teammate and one of the engineers that helped build these features ;)

For all of you Android, Calendar and widget addicts out there, this new app by +Francisco Franco is totally for you.
MY NEW APP!
It's a Calendar widget (yes I know, not the most original idea) but after seeing +Marques Brownlee video about his apps and the Today Calendar Widget being kinda broken I decided to make a new one. It's beautiful and I'm really happy about it.
As usual with all my apps feedback is appreciated, but my main goal is to keep it simple, beautiful, small apk size (it's ~1.3Mb now) so not looking forward to clutter it up 🙌
Also believe it or not, making a functional good looking widget is... surprisingly dificult. And then going around Oreo's Background Limit changes was another monster. Spent a full week almost non-stop on this but I'm very happy with how it turned out!
The icon was magically created by +Tom Wellington!
Get it now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.agenda

And yet another new version of Google Now has just appeared for me.
The search bar is now a floating search bar that remains at the top while you scroll.
Anyone seeing this one yet?

Hard to believe that Swype is shutting down and not going to be developed any longer.
It's the keyboard that started it all and one that I used for several years back in the early days of Android. It alone set standards and brought us competition like SwiftKey, TouchPal, GBoard and others. It was the pioneer of swipe style typing within Android.
I switched from Swype to SwiftKey 3+ years ago and never looked back as it is a bit faster and predictions seem miles ahead of Swype in so many ways.
Regardless, it's sad to see Swype go away and no longer be developed. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets sold to another company.

Thanks to +Andrew Bell for yet another amazing Android mini to add to my collection of many. This one celebrates the year of the dog for the Chinese new year.

With Christmas being tomorrow(today for some people), and the fact that many people will be getting new phones or a bit of extra money to buy the apps they want to buy, just a friendly reminder that Nova Launcher Prime is currently on sale for the cheapest price allowed in your specific region of the world.
Currently that means Nova Launcher Prime is on sale just under $1.00 USD, cheaper than the price of a taco!
Make sure you grab it quick, as the sale won't last forever and the regular price of $4.99 USD will be back in effect starting January 2nd, 2018.
