I used to walk around this pond almost every weekday at lunchtime, usually with a camera. Autumn found it at its most colorful, but it was interesting year-round.

Deacon Isaac Abbot Tavern

Built around 1680. George Washington visited here in November, 1789.

In 1795, the Tavern became Andover's first Post Office

On this day, the trees near the house were beginning to turn yellow, and some of them had fallen.
