Did you know there are three types of camels in the world?

You're probably most familiar with the one-humped camel that is found in Middle East and the northern parts of Africa. But in Central Asia you'll find the two-humped camel and in northwest China you'll come across the rare Bactrian camel - which has two pyramid-shaped humps!

Humpback whales: the singers of the seas

It is not just their size and gentle traits that make humpback whales so fascinating, it is also their songs. As complex as they are, few things are known about the way whales communicate but the music remains haunting. Did you know that they actually learn the songs from one another?

Fascinated by whales? Why not go whale watching in Alaska? http://bit.ly/1X0AN8c

A thing or two about Llamas

You can always learn something about llamas. These friendly creatures, despite their reputation for spitting, have long been domesticated by humans and not only helped South American populations with their ability to carry up to 25% percent of their body weight. Their wool is much valued and they also serve as guards against menacing creatures. What is more, did you know that llamas have three stomachs? Really, they are fascinating, funny creatures.

Peru is a great place to befriend a llama: http://bit.ly/1NRX1pB
