Here's my "Tree of Life" glue book page. I believe it's my 4th one. I'm also looking for a manger to put on this page and maybe I can find a little one on an unused Christmas card to put down in the bottom left hand corner with the Christmas tree. By the way, turquoise is my birthday color!

I shared my Documented Faith scripture pages on my gratitude blog today. Here's one of my favorites with the theme "Grow." It's opposite my sunflower glue-book page and it makes a beautiful spread. Here's the rest: http://mythankfuljournal.blogspot.com/2017/08/encourage-doodle-not-apologize.html

I have been working this month on coloring my own doodled coloring sheets as dividers for my 2017 faith-book. I have others on my blog here: http://thefrugalcraftyrushdlady.blogspot.com/2017/07/documented-faith-dividers_15.html

I'm challenging myself to collect inspirational images and words for glue book pages in my Documented Faith Journal this year. I just uploaded my first glue-book page and I'm very pleased with it. http://thefrugalcraftyrushdlady.blogspot.com/2017/03/paper-scavenger-hunt-glue-book.html

I like inspirational poetry, been collecting poetry and quotes since 6th grade, and wanted to add some into my faith-book, so scribbled the frame and sentiment, colored it in with watercolor pencils and attached the printed poem I received in an email.

I doodled all the names of my Documented Faith groupies into this coloring sheet and then was inspired by Joanne Sharpe to color-block it with colored pencils.

I've added in some quotes of Stephanie Ackerman's to the backs of my monthly dividers such as:

"True peace is not found in positive thinking, absence of conflict or in good feelings. It is in knowing that God is in control."

"Our joy, thankfulness and prayers should not change depending on our circumstances. When we decide to have a prayerful attitude at all times, depending fully (not partially) on God, we will find it easier to be joyful and thankful."

"It really is simple. . . rely on faith. . . love others and stay true to you and everything will be okay! Whew!"

". . . if you mess with my kids or my hood, then you are going to see my mom horns come out. . ."

"The devil wants you to, um, like second-guess yourself and think about it and feel unworthy, so if that is happening, then know that something you are doing is in the right direction, because the enemy doesn't want you to share and the enemy doesn't want you to feel good about the things you are doing, especially when it's faith-based and creative. . . please don't feel you are unworthy because that's the enemy. He's working on you and he does that a lot and he's really good at it, he does it to me."

"I just read a line in a book this morning that said: We can't bring everyone to Jesus but we can bring Jesus to everyone."

"A doodled house is just a square with a triangle on top and a heart in the middle because a house is not a home without a heart!"

""What I'm about to tell you is true," he continued. "A prophet is not accepted in his hometown." Luke 4:24, NIRV. Even Jesus was not accepted as a prophet in his hometown. Do not be surprised if your life and faith are not easily understood or accepted by those around you or know you well. Because they may know your background, your failures and faults, they may not be able to see past those to the person you have become. Let God work in your life, pray to be an example of Him to others and be patient. Remember this: not everyone will accept you and it is okay. The only one you have to be concerned with already does. Yay, thank you and amen!"

"Handmade, homegrown, and handwritten is something that is not practiced enough and something that I have started incorporating into my classes, both online and in-store, is encouraging everyone to send "happy mail" to others."

"If you feel like God is so far removed from your life that you can't even feel him. . .guess who moved? YOU are as close as you choose to be and the easiest and fastest way to realign yourself is to fess up right now. That's it. Just tell Him and then Thank Him."

"Love keeps no records of wrongs. . .so don't repeat it. . .just delete it."

"What are "LIFE COLORS" you ask? They are the colors that you are primarily drawn to. Now I made this word & definition up, so it might mean something else to someone else, but for me & My creative process. . .I will stick to my definition . . . I am always drawn to DARK RED, SAGE GREEN and LIBERTY BLUE. Anything I make in those combinations, along with adding in some cream, brown, and white, makes me happy & satisfied."

"Now, when the Travel Ledger line from Teresa Collins came out in April, I started creating a book documenting "My Creative Life" to demonstrate that you did not have to create something just about "travel" or a "vacation." My book is about my personal "Creative Journey" in the creative world I live, work and breathe in and it has become one of my very favorite books. It not only documents what I have done and where I have been, but most importantly, it reflects all of the changes that have occurred, and I LOVE IT."

"Go out into the world, uncorrupted, like a breath of fresh air in a squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living GOD. (Philippians 2)."

"You can't grow by yourself and flourish. . . you need relationships."

"Bitter does not make anything Better."

"Here are some key reminders for all of us. . .on Thinking before we speak. . .ask yourself these things BEFORE you speak. . . T- are my words THOUGHTFUL. H-are my words HELPFUL. I--are my words INSPIRATIONAL. .. N - are my words NECESSARY ... K--are my words KIND."

Here are two samples of Stephanie's line doodles that I watercolored. The first one is a list of things to do and the second one tells the story of my first word which was "Je-Je". My mother who had been a teacher knew it was a word because I was pointing with my pudgy little finger at a picture of Jesus hanging on the wall. Our pastor told us during the first sermon of 2016 that we needed to record our story of our relationship with Jesus, and asked us keep a journal or scrapbook of it this year, so I'm writing parts of my story each month in my Documented Faith-book.
