It's been a while since I last shared to this collection. Let's see if we can change that with an original #Berlin Ampelmännchen. :)

Urbex in the forest?

I wonder - do you still call it urbex if your exploration of Lost Places happens in a non-urban environment?

This location is the former entrance to an underground mine that was used by the arms industry decades ago. It has been demolished by allied forces after World War II, and a forest has grown all over the place since then, but some of the concrete structure still remains and (like most urbex locations) now is full of graffiti.

Ceci n’est pas une Magritte!

I found this image painted on a concrete wall in a German school. It's not technically the best photo I took in the last two weeks, but I like the art itself and wonder how many of this school's students actually pay attention to it on a daily basis.

Converting this photo to black&white actually allowed me to hide some of its shortcomings, like its flat colors. Still, if this wasn't a B&W projected, I probably would have opted for some selective coloring, better highlighting the painting itself.

Porta-Kanzel (B&W)

Wanderlust: it's been nearly a year since I took this photo. Of course I visited this favourite place in a nearby forest several times since then - but it's about time to do it again. Next weekend, perhaps. :)

Tonsillitis

Being ill sucks! 🤒
Not only did I feel like the mirror in this picture (kaputt and slightly wobbly) for the last weeks - I also mostly couldn't motivate myself to share any photography, whether new or archived.

The good thing is, I'm slowly starting to feel better - so here's a "double feature" for the past two topics of the #BWProject2017 that I've missed. :)

Little Cathedral

This bronze model is located in #Minden, Germany. It is supposed to make the architecture of the Minden Cathedral accessible to the visually impaired.

Tabula Rasa

Gardening season started earlier than usual this year. The grapevines had to go before spring - and now I have to learn rendering a wall. :D
