Sony's TriStar is creating a biopic on WWE Chairman #VinceMcMahon titled Pandemonium. WWE Studios is involved with the movie, as President Michael Liusi is one of the producers. PWinsider reports that it is believed that #VinceMcMahon will have complete approval over the final script. MLW received a copy of the screenplay and Alex Greenfield reviewed it on yesterday's MLW VIP podcast.

On #27Apr 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee, Austin Idol defeated #JerryLawler in a hair versus hair steel cage match to win the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship.

As a result of the loss, Lawler also had his head shaved. Tommy Rich, who hid under the ring for the entire day with a six-pack of beer and an air mattress, helped Idol defeat Lawler. Fans were so irate with the outcome they grabbed and shook the cage. The bout was one of the most infamous in Memphis wrestling history.

On #25Apr 2000, at a #WCW Thunder taping in Syracuse, New York, #DavidArquette defeated #EricBischoff to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The show aired on #26Apr 2000.

No, Bischoff wasn't the champion (nor the legal man in the match), but the belt was on the line in a tag team match between #DiamondDallasPage (the champion) and Arquette versus #JeffJarrett and Bischoff. #KimberlyPage was the special referee. As Arquette got the deciding fall in the match, he won the belt.

The title change was seen by many as a mortal wound for WCW and its championship's credibility, as they had put their top championship on an actor. Arquette to his credit donated his earnings from his brief run as WCW champion to the families of the late #BrianPillman, the late #OwenHart and #DarrenDrozdov.

On #24Apr 2006, WWE and Brock Lesnar settle a lawsuit brought on by Lesnar. Lesnar left the company in 2004, after which he signed a no-compete clause to pursue an NFL career. After washing out there, he went to New Japan and pursued mixed martial arts, both of which were against the no-compete clause. Terms were not disclosed, though the settlement opened the door for Lesnar to fully pursue his MMA career, first appearing for K-1 in 2007, then UFC in 2008. Lesnar would return to WWE in 2012.
