An absolutely fantastic video. I have used it in a post about the Hivjufossen in my Dutch blog.
https://antoinettejanssen.com/2016/07/16/hivjufossen/

A really dramatic accident has happened there last Sunday, July 24, 2016. An American tourist fell into the waterfall, and until today he is not found. A very experienced rescue team with air ambulance, special trained dogs, divers, Alpine climbers, police and people of the fire department have been active for many days now. They even search next to the borders of the river Storåni, where the waterfall is streaming into.
This is not the first time: in 1991 a Norwegian woman of 44 fell into the waterfall and died, and in 2007 a Dutch man fell into the waterfall and died also.
This is the third accident. The waterfall is not to be blamed. It is Hol Kommune, where the waterfall is part of, and they should warn the people, the tourists, for slippery rocks, because water creates algs, and one can never trust it. Also the frost, already in summer nights, can be reason for slippery rocks. Norwegians mostly know this, but foreigners not.

I have asked the community for more warnings, last week, some days before the accident happened. They were convinced they did enough. But the text, on the top of the waterfall, is in Norwegian, and not any tourist can read it. Not any warning that it is dangerous for life.

The fall is about 250 meters.
This is not the only place in Norway where accidents happen with waterfalls. All who read this: do not play the hero, and go back if you are not trained in hiking, in climbing, not informed about nature.
Not any protection is there, neither on the rocky steep path up.

Hardangervidda ice haze, Norway
This haze seen on the Hardangervidda mountain plateau turned out to be ice crystals. Do you see the cabin?

With Cecilie Skog to the top of STETIND, Norway's national mountain. NRK "OUT IN NATURE"

Stetind or Stetinden is a mountain in the municipality of Tysfjord in Nordland county, Norway. It is located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of the village of Kjøpsvik. The mountain has very smooth sides reaching all the way to the fjord. Stetind has an obelisk-shape which gives it a very distinct look. In 2002 it was voted to be the "National Mountain" of Norway by listeners of NRK.
