Hairpin

Couldn't resist sharing this shot from 2012 for today's #joinindaily theme "what's around the bend" by +Johnny Wills.

This is Utah State Route 261. You see the escarpment in the background? this road climbs up it!! :-)

Burning Canyon

Thank you so much +Johnny Wills for your fantastic #joinindaily tag! It always motivates me to hunt through my library and keep posting images here on G+. This is a shot from the north rim of the Grand Canyon taken on a trip back in 2011.

Todays theme is "orange (not flowers)"

Time for some Landscape Collection love! It's been too long since I posted a photo here. This is from a trip to Glacier National Park back in 2011

Small town USA

Here's a blast from the past. One of the few photos I took way back in 2011 when I owned a tilt-shift lens.

Shout out to +Dylan Johnson for reminding me to go find these photos.

Purple skies

Is in my brain... I was perusing my archives for a nice tree photo to post for #TreeTuesday  and found this lovely shot of my favorite trees that I had never published before. Aren't they just beautiful?

Though I walk through the Valley of Death I fear no evil

After spending the night at The Racetrack in the heart of Death Valley National Park I decided to take the road less traveled. Lippincott Road is a 4WD path leaving from the south end of the Racetrack and joins Saline Valley Road. This is the view looking back up Lippincott from the intersection. Keen eyes will see the road winding up the hills on the left of the photo.
