A very good signing by the +Vegas Golden Knights to help quarterback a Top 6 that will takes years to come to fruition. I've seen Shipachyov over the last few years at the IIHF World Championships and I have never been more impressed with his playmaking and decision making abilities from any other player. I am very excited to see what he has in store for the Golden Knights in their inaugural season.

As the +Toronto Maple Leafs play their last game at Joe Louis Arena tonight, here is a little throwback of the last time the Leafs and Red Wings battled it out in the playoffs.....

What a way to start off a brand new season of DWTS than without a solid performance by good old David Ross!

Not the best version of "Take Me out to the Ballgame", but at least our good old Ozzy tried. At least he gets an "A" for effort?

#TBT to arguably one of the best brawls I have ever witnessed as a hockey fan. Although we will never see stuff like this in today's NHL, it's nice to look back on the 10 year anniversary of that night.

I really like this move for the Blue Jays. I was not expecting Kendrys Morales to sign such an economical deal ($11 million AAV) that will not hurt the Blue Jays in terms of payroll flexibility. Yes, he is not Edwin Encarnacion. However, moving forward he will add more balance and protection in the already deep lineup for the +Toronto Blue Jays

Tonight, another Major League Baseball season will conclude. One team's championship drought will end tonight. Will it be the Chicago Cubs or the Cleveland Indians, two franchises longing for a championship to savour.

Regardless of the outcome tonight, this will be honestly be my favourite highlight of this year's World Series.

Take it away, Bill Murray.

Although I wasn't even alive to see Gordie Howe play live in person, I always took appreciation in what he did for the sport of hockey. He demonstrated amazing leadership, grace, and longevity in arguably one of the most complete and well balanced players to ever play the game. Even though he is longer with us, his impact in the game of hockey will always be remembered. Rest In Peace, Mr. Hockey.

Although Jesse Chavez and Drew Hutchinson, and Gavin Floyd gave us something to think about for the last spot in the Starting Rotation, ultimately, I knew it would be Sanchez in the end. I am really hoping he demonstrates consistency and his progressive development that he had shown before he went back to the bullpen after his injury last season.

Overall, at least i feel comfortable going into this season knowing we have some decent fall back and stop-gap options , which demonstrates the amount of pitching depth we have this year.

The last time the Maple Leafs were heavily pursuing and hyping a "highly touted" goalie from overseas (aka Jonas Gustavsson), it did not work well in our favour. I am really hoping he would make at least an impression and develop properly with the Toronto Marlies if signed to an entry level contract by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Also, did I forget to mention that he is a Male Model on the side as well?
