Stone Chariot, Hampi.
Hampi is a temple town recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in northern Karnataka. It is located in the city of Vijayanagara, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Hampi is an important religious centre, housing the Virupaksha Temple and several other monuments belonging to the old city.

Naga bhut jolokia - One of the world's hottest chilli pepper.

Naga bhut jolokia, also known as ghost pepper or red naga chili, is 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce and it reaches to an astounding 1 million Scoville Heat Units(SHU), which is a scale for measuring hotness of chilly. It grows in the Indian states of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur.
It was certified by the Guinness World Records as the world’s hottest chilli in 2007. It has since been dethroned but has lost none of it’s heat and charm.

Devprayag is a town in Tehri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand, India, and is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River where Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet and take the name Ganga or Ganges River.

देवप्रयाग भारत के उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में स्थित एक नगर एवं प्रसिद्ध तीर्थस्थान है। यह अलकनंदा तथा भागीरथी नदियों के संगम पर स्थित है। इसी संगम स्थल के बाद इस नदी को पहली बार 'गंगा' के नाम से जाना जाता है।

Sheesh mahal was built by king Man Singh in 16th century and completed in 1727. It is also the foundation year of Jaipur state. Sheesh Mahal is one of the most exciting feature of Amer fort which is adorned with thousands of mirror tiles as well as colored glasses on its wall as well as on ceiling.

World Heritage day is celebrated with an aim to raise public awareness of the world’s monuments and heritage sites and the efforts required to protect and conserve them. World heritage day has an important part to play in India, where you can find many such heritage sites and monuments.

Amazing 1000-year-old Architecture.

The Brihadeeswara Temple at Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The entire temple structure is made out of granite and the temple tower (216 ft high) is among the tallest of its kind in the world. Built in 1010 AD by Raja Raja Chola I, it turned 1000 years old in 2010, is one of India's most prized architectural sites and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
