{RESTAURANT} Peruvian food is certainly having a moment here in London, and there are few better places to experience it than at +COYA Mayfair. I recently visited for a dinner matching their excellent Peruvian food with Alhambra Reserva 1925 beer: http://www.cooksister.com/2017/01/coya-and-alhambra-matching-spanish-beer-and-peruvian-food.html

{RESTAURANT} When I was told I was visiting a restaurant attached to a golf driving range in the shadow of the O2 arena in North Greenwich, I did not have high culinary expectations... But +Vinothec Compass is a hidden gem where Basque chef Idoia Guzman creates glorious Basque-inspired dishes that can be enjoyed alongside their excellent, eclectic range of 600 wines and 68 craft beers. Definitely worth the trip out east! http://www.cooksister.com/2016/11/vinothec-compass-turf-and-terroir-in-north-greenwich.html

{REVIEW} Looking for an Indian meal with a difference? Thali north Indian restaurant in Old Brompton Road has an excellent menu (including a game section!) that's a world away from the standard chicken tikka masala joints on Brick Lane - and the prices are surprisingly reasonable! http://www.cooksister.com/2016/04/thali-indian-gem-old-brompton-road.html
