A big thumbs up to NYC, the surprisingly strong camera (and camera app) of the Nexus 6, and Google+ Stories, which autogenerated this storybook :-)

From my team offsite last year in Sintra, Portugal.  Yes, I'm a bit slow with the photo processing!

I'm enjoying the new #Stories  feature in Google+!
And here are a few hints that might help you get the most out of it:
- You can use the arrow keys to zoom forwards and backwards
- If you're sharing photos from your phone, make sure you're capturing the location info!
- Add some fun and interesting captions to your photos.  Unfortunately, I didn't do that for this Story below, but I'm trying to do it from now on :)

Do you have any cool Stories already made?  You can always check by going to Photos, then clicking More, and then Stories.

Disclaimer:  I work for Google, but cannot take any credit for this cool feature.

Take some moments throughout your day to look up.

(yes, this is actually the correct orientation, both literally here and philosophically :-)

Trip to Inner Mongolia in 2012

Armed with a point-and-shoot camera (Canon S100), a smartphone (Galaxy Nexus), energy from foods I wasn't quite accustomed to, and not all that much sleep ("hotel" room with no heat or hot water?!), I had an adventurous, awesome time with teammates on a three day trek from Beijing to Inner Mongolia and back... involving buses, four wheel drive vehicles, and a lot of foot power :).

Somewhat odd and definitely non-touristy photos of outer London

It took me about 8 months, but finally I got around to processing and posting pics from a post-work-trip weekend wandering around a grey-sky'd but nonetheless charming London neighborhood.

Enjoy!

Some teammates and I visited #Cascais for a few days before a #Panoramio meetup in Lisbon in Sept 2013, and I've just now gotten around to uploading the photos.  Hope you enjoy them :-)

Lisbon, Portugal - 2013

I had the pleasure of meeting up with a lot of passionate Panoramio photographers and spending 6+ hours photographing Lisbon together.  What a picturesque (and delicious) city!

Just got back from a quick trip to Portugal (to meet up with awesome #Panoramio  moderators on behalf of Google), and also the UK and Spain (for a few days each to see friends).  Below is a #photosphere  I took in Cascais, Portugal just around the corner from my hotel.

You can see all the photo spheres I've shared so far (the good, and the, uh, not quite perfect ones ;) via my #Views profile at https://www.google.com/maps/views/profile/107590607834908463472 .

As for the other 3,000+ photos I took during my short time away... er... those are gonna take some time to process :o.

Lots of old Italian sports cars! I'm sure it was a total coincidence.

Or maybe it was part of the California Mille, with the cars being shown off outside the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco :-)
