I picked up an iPad in July. The new 2017 model. It's my first iPad ever and my first iOS device in a long time.

I'll admit, I've never been big on a tablet replacing a laptop. I still don't believe it's possible for me. But it's crazy how much I can get done on this device without rushing for my laptop. As a couch computer, it's pretty much perfect.

Apple also nailed down the basics of this device. It has everything an average user needs and for an actually justifiable cost.

And it certainly helps that it can go literal days. I'm talking over half a week without charge of daily use, specifically email, web browsing, YouTube, some games. It's also a great study aid. I've loaded it up with PDFs and presentations for my coursework.

All in all, I'd recommend this particular iPad in a heartbeat.

Picked up a OnePlus Three for dad. Seems like a great phone, especially at the price point.

I like to imagine Apple engineers snickering as they read all the posts calling 3D Touch / Force Touch useless.

Neat concept of what the touch panel might look like in the upcoming MacBook Pros.

Pumped for 1.2.
Trolling level: 9001

Sidenote, it's just not commiting the disk changes yet, the installer is almost complete. Strategy stuff is complete. Now it's just "put things there".
