I was asked to supply a keyed version of the latest #letsbuildadungeon map with all the descriptions added ...so here it is :)

(let me know if I missed anything ;) )

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 FINISHED!)

OK then, the last batch of suggestions have been enough to finish off the dungeon (though I've also added in a set of stairs down to a lower level) - so here's the full size version of the finished map :)

My thanks go out to everyone who's supplied room suggestions* for each area of the map, and if anyone happens to run this dungeon for their players, I'd love to hear how it turns out.

Also note that if you are using this map in a VTT, then the size of each grid square is 50x50 pixels.

Anyway ...here's hoping you guys like it!

*see the previous entries in this 'collection' to read through the room descriptions provided by folks who helped build the dungeon

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 pt.5)

I think I've managed to combine the last bunch of suggestions into the areas you can now see at the bottom right of the map (roughly in the 'area 12' spot), and I've also added in a little room for the 'riddle wizard' from the bridge room.

So, on to the next areas*

*i.e. simply provide a very basic room/passage description for areas 10 & 11 in the comments below (just a sentence or two will suffice), and I'll get to work adding them to the map (possibly combining ideas if I get multiple suggestions) :)

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 pt.4)

I've been a bit busy these last few days ...so this update is a little later than I would like (I also forgot how much time these things take up :S ).

Anyway, I've drawn in the latest suggestions as best as I can (within the space available) ...which means it's time to take suggestions for the next areas of the map* :)

(*i.e. anyone who feels so inclined can post a basic room/passage description in the comments below, and I'll do my best to add them to the map)

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 pt.3)

It's been a bit of a challenge, but I think I've managed to combine all of yesterday's suggestions into the new areas you can see on the map below.

So, on to the next* rooms & passages :)

(*i.e. anyone who feels so inclined can post a basic room/passage description in the comments below, and I'll do my best to draw them on the map)

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 pt.2)

OK then, I've drawn in yesterday's submissions (from +Sean Arnold +James Shields and +Ricardo Dorda   ), and decided to use the Conan-style 'mirror room' as the interior of the tardis-like 'obelisk' (as I think that works rather well).

So, as before, if anyone would  like to provide a very basic room/passage description for the new areas that have just opened up (just a sentence or two will suffice), I'll get to work adding them to the map :)

(and if I get several suggestions for the same area - I'll try to combine them whenever possible)

Let's build a dungeon (level 2 pt.1)

Around this time last year I started a little project where I created a basic dungeon map, one room at a time, based upon the descriptions submitted by others (see the other posts in this 'collection' to see how that map progressed).

Well, since I owe one of my Patreon backers another map (as they have simply requested that I 'freestyle' a map however I see fit), I thought I would attempt another of these #letsbuildadungeon maps :)

For anyone interested in taking part, the idea is that you provide me with a very basic room/passage description (just a sentence or two will suffice) and I'll then try to add that area to the map based on your description (possibly combining ideas if several people submit a suggestion for the same area). Then, once I've drawn it in, I'll repeat the process until the entire page is filled :)

So, I'll get things started with the first room...

Area 1: A narrow set of steps leads down into the corner of a square room with two wide passages leading out of the opposite walls. Graven into the floor of this room is a large, triangular shaped, arcane sigil that glows with a pale blue light.

So, if that sound like a fun idea, feel free to add a suggestion for areas 2 or 3 in the comments below and #letsbuildadungeon :)

And here's a player version of the map ...with a few bits of colour added (to make it a little more interesting).

(note that each grid square is 50x50 pixels ...just in case anyone was going to use it in a VTT)

Here's the 'finished' map as pdf file.

I still might go back and make the numbers flow a little better - but I'll keep them as they are for now, just to match what has been written so far :)
