Hi Everyone!

I am happy to announce the publication of the PDF version of Echoes From Fomalhaut #03, now available from RPGNow at https://www.rpgnow.com/product/261005/Echoes-From-Fomalhaut-03-Blood-Death-and-Tourism

This issue of the zine features an adventure set on a tropical island paradise dotted with odd ruins, a GM’s guide to the Isle of Erillion mini-setting, monsters converted from the excellent Wizardry VII computer game, and the description of a destructive magical enigma, as well as the people who follow its path of devastation.

People who have purchased the zine in print are eligible for a free copy of this edition (these download links have just been sent out). Print copies are still available at emdt.bigcartel.com. Looking at typical shipping times, a US order still has good odds of making it before Christmas.

Google Plus is going away in a few months, and this group will be going away with it. Many gamers have moved to MeWe, and, having tried it for a few days, I am also fairly happy with it. You can reach me there if you would like, and I have even set up a new *Echoes From Fomalhaut* group there (link below).

If you do not feel like joining MeWe, you can still check out my blog for any news about Echoes and other EMDT releases, or visit the Knights and Knaves Alehouse, TheRPGSite or Dragonsfoot. And I will keep this group updated as long as G+ is around. The Titanic would not be a fun place without some music to go with our iced drink!

In any case, hope to see you around, wherever life might take us. It has been my distinct pleasure, and God bless!

Hi Folks,

I am happy to announce the publication of the third issue of Echoes From Fomalhaut! This zine includes an adventure module set on an abandoned resort island dotted with pleasure palaces, enigmatic caverns and the relics of a bygone age; one half of the Isle of Erillion mini-setting (suitable for use on its own, or placed somewhere in your home campaign); a fold-out GM's hex map of the isle, and more!

The cover for this issue was done by +Stefan Poag, who also worked on the interior illustrations, along with +Denis McCarthy (with further pieces from the classics). It is available for purchase from https://emdt.bigcartel.com/

I am happy to announce the publication of the PDF version of Echoes From Fomalhaut #02, now available from RPGNow at https://www.rpgnow.com/product/251466/Echoes-From-Fomalhaut-02-Gont-Nest-of-Spies. This issue of the zine features a complete town supplement, a guide to the Isle of Erillion mini-setting, and two adventure scenarios. People who have purchased the module in print are eligible for a free copy of this edition (these download links have just been sent out; ping me if you didn't receive yours). Print copies are still available at https://emdt.bigcartel.com/ .

In other news… Echoes From Fomalhaut #01: Beware the Beekeeper is now getting close to sold out. I still have around 15 copies left, and a reprint is forthcoming, but if you’d like a copy of the first printing, this is the last call.

In yet other news, Echoes From Fomalhaut #03 is undergoing proofreading, and awaiting a few illustrations. If things go according to plan, it will be published in the second half of September. When I set out, I planned to maintain a more-or-less quarterly schedule with the zine; so far, so good!

Bryce's second review of The Barbarian King!

1) To paraphrase Hitchcock, does this make TBK one of the rare adventures worth reviewing... twice?

2) If you compare the reviews, you can see that adventures, like fine wine, do get better with age. (Or at least the reviewers become more mellow.)

Which all makes sense for TBK, since this is the fifth time it has been published:
- once as a small, self-contained tomb-robbing scenario (featuring what would become the inner tomb);
- once in Fight On! magazine, reasonably close to its current form (but with less accessible presentation);
- once as a free PDF in the Hungarian;
- once in a bootleg 5e version sold through the DM's Guild, following the original small-scale release (no kneecaps were broken, and the perp apologised);
- and now as a standalone module!

Let's test this collection...
I am happy to announce the forthcoming publication of the revised edition of The Barbarian King. A 20-page adventure module for 4th to 6th level player characters, The Barbarian King pits the company against the ruined empire of the mountain barbarians... and the evil that still slumbers therein! This gloomy wilderness and dungeon scenario features deals with malevolent and ultra-powerful spirits, the burial places of a now defeated people, shadowy hosts and deadly traps.

First published in 2002 as a standalone mini-module and in 2011 in an expanded version in Fight On! magazine, The Barbarian King has seen quite a lot of play in those sixteen years (and held up rather well at the table). This edition has been re-edited for easy use, and includes illustrations by +Matthew Ray (who also did the cover art seen below - just look at it!), +Stefan Poag and +Denis McCarthy. It will be available in print in May, and in PDF with a few months’ delay, at a price of $6 plus shipping.

On another note, Echoes From Fomalhaut #02 is now almost fully written, and undergoing proofreading (you should see how many tiny errors I catch before releasing something still riddled with a whole lot of tiny errors). With art orders taken into account, it has a good chance to come out mid-June. Remember the map from Issue #01? There will be a double-sided one in this one!
