Congrats Kenzen, "a San Francisco-based developer of wearable patches that analyze sweat to continuously monitor, predict and prevent avoidable health conditions, said on Monday it has raised $5 million in a new round of funding. Investors included Digitalis, Flex(formerly Flextronics), the San Francisco 49ers, Hickory Ventures, Gaingels and the Women's Capital Connection. The company said it will use the proceeds to further develop and market its ECHO Smart Patches, which analyze sweat to measure vital signs and motion sensors to predict and prevent avoidable injuries and illnesses. The patches work in tandem with mobile apps and proprietary algorithms. "We are marrying connected wearables with fluidics analysis to deliver real-time precision medicine to healthcare communities," said co-founder and CEO Sonia Sousa."
