Ian McLagan released his sophomore effort, “Bump in the Night,” on January 06, 1981, an album that now featured his own band, “The Bump Band.” Joining him was Johnny Lee Schell (guitars) who was on his first album as well as former Beach Boys drummer Ricky Fataar, Ray Ohara (bass), as well as Ronnie Wood and longtime Rolling Stones sax man, Bobby Keys. This album is delightful and we hope that every reader of the blogs will seek this album out by visiting your favorite site for music.

Steppenwolf released their sophomore effort, “The Second,” on October 25, 1968. This album was an excellent follow-up to their debut album and contained another lifelong rock-and-roll hit, “Magic Carpet Ride.” The band remained the same featuring John Kay (guitars/harmonic/lead vocals), Michael Monarch (lead guitar/backing vocals), Goldy McJohn (keyboards), Rushton Moreve (bass/backing vocals), and Jerry Edmonton (drums/percussion/backing vocals). This is a great album, one we hope you will seek out at your favorite site for the best in rock music, whether it be Amazon.com, Discogs, or some other site. You will be glad you did.

Following the death of Queen front man, Freddie Mercury, his record company released a compilation, “Remixes,” which came out on December 06, 1993. The album contained remixes of some of his solo catalog, much to the delight of music fans everywhere. If you want to catch the artist away from his main job with Queen, where he became even more creative when left to his own, we urge you to seek this album out and give it a listen- we think you will enjoy it.

In order for the Green New Deal to become reality, it means first that the communist-environmentalists must take over government and the military as that is the only way the people pushing this phony baloney agenda can get it enacted. We must not fall for any of the crap these worthless scumbags seek to force on us as once they do, we will never get rid of it.

The Green New Deal is a sham, it is phony, it is a load of pig crap, pushed by the millennials who are victims of the Marxist education system. I sure as hell hope that Betsy DeVos is working hard at fixing the horrendous damage done to our schools thanks to years of penetration by communists. We must save our country and the only way we can do it is by reclaiming education and making it fair for all.

Famed keyboardist with the Small Faces, Faces, and on-and-off with the Rolling Stones- Ian McLagan- released his first solo effort on May 27, 1979. “Troublemaker” introduced the man to the world, both as an artist and as a vocalist. He had sung some tunes on the Small Faces throughout their original and then their reformed career and here became full-time vocalist. Joining him were members of the Stones, the Faces/Small Faces. This album certainly deserves a listen, one we hope you will give it by visiting your favorite site for rock music so you can consider adding it to your collection.

One of the greatest all-time bands of the 1960s and 1970s (and still with us to modern times), Steppenwolf, formed in Canada in the early 1960s as “Sparrow.” When the psychedelic era commenced, they moved south to California where they combined acid rock with hard rock, thus creating ‘heavy metal.’ Their first album, “Steppenwolf” came out on January 28, 1968. The band featured John Kay (guitars/harmonic/lead vocals), Michael Monarch (lead guitar/backing vocals), Goldy McJohn (keyboards), Rushton Moreve (bass/backing vocals), and phenom Jerry Edmonton (drums/percussion/backing vocals). Jerry’s brother, Dennis- aka Mars Bonfire- wrote the hit that would make them stars for decades to come, “Born to Be Wild.” This is an excellent debut effort, one we hope you will seek out by visiting whatever site you visit for classic rock-and-roll music. This is a band everyone must know and own.
