I hope the apartment community replaces the noisy cooling system in apartment # 1822 . I hope this would be helpful for the next tenant that they are not going to replace even if you complain 100 times.

I've lived here almost two years. The first year in one apartment and the second in another apartment. Rent is reasonable. The lease is detailed and there have been no surprises. Maintenance comes within 24 hours for nonemergency issues. The front office is friendly and helpful. Agents come and go but I put that to young people looking for the next best thing. The pools are great and clean. Love the hot-tub. While the gate does not always work, that is clearly stated in the lease as a nonguarantee. We have never had our vehicle broken into nor items taken from our patio. We feel safe even after dark. Love the recreational areas, especially the walking trail. Weekly movies are a nice amenity along with montly breakfast. As for heating/cooling, we've never had an issue. Those who did probably had lots of west or north facing windows and/or lived upstairs and did not take into account that this is Texas and rates will be high to cool in the summer. For our second apartment we chose an inner downstairs apartment. Our utility bills average $55 dollars in the winter and $75 in the summer, which is very reasonable. I fully recommend this community and have recommended it so many people. Love being close to work with a bus stop right out front.

The employees here are very nice, however, the management is less than concerned for your happiness. Don't count on being well taken care of. The maintenance is prompt but will jerry-rig something instead of actually fixing the problem every time. They WILL raise your rent every year without question.

They overcharge you for everything and will definitely (not possibly) raise your rent with each renewal, even when they offer your floorplan to new residents for a fraction of the price you are paying. There's a good chance your car will be broken into. The leasing office will not care. The gates are pointless (they also never work properly) and there are no security cameras on property. They require a $500 non-refundable pet deposit, that doesn't really cover anything at all. It's basically a penalty for owning a pet. My air conditioner broke at least every 4 months. In the summer, it was not possible to keep my apartment below 80 degrees. A maintenance guy once confided in me that they are told to not fill the units with enough freon to last more than a few months, as a cost-saving measure. When you finally get sick of their practices and move out, they will charge you for everything they can think of. I spent hours cleaning my apartment and they denied me a walk-through and sent me a bill to clean items that were scrubbed with every cleaner known to man. They did this to my friends who moved out a year ago as well. It's normal practice for them. Don't even consider this property. Not only can you not afford to live here, but you really can't afford to move out either.
