They overcharge you for everything and will definitely (not possibly) raise your rent with each renewal, even when they offer your floorplan to new residents for a fraction of the price you are paying.
There's a good chance your car will be broken into. The leasing office will not care. The gates are pointless (they also never work properly) and there are no security cameras on property.
They require a $500 non-refundable pet deposit, that doesn't really cover anything at all. It's basically a penalty for owning a pet.
My air conditioner broke at least every 4 months. In the summer, it was not possible to keep my apartment below 80 degrees. A maintenance guy once confided in me that they are told to not fill the units with enough freon to last more than a few months, as a cost-saving measure.
When you finally get sick of their practices and move out, they will charge you for everything they can think of. I spent hours cleaning my apartment and they denied me a walk-through and sent me a bill to clean items that were scrubbed with every cleaner known to man. They did this to my friends who moved out a year ago as well. It's normal practice for them.
Don't even consider this property. Not only can you not afford to live here, but you really can't afford to move out either.
