Beautiful music auditorium (palace) with a heavy art nouveau decoration. Has a great coffee station and 2 rooms for music. The symphonic is ok but they are always trying new things and make it a lovely place.

Definitely a must visit for anyone in Barcelona! You can go in either with a guided tour or buying tickets for a show. The tour is not too long, but it is worth it. It's offered in many languages. Check online to see the time slots for each language.

Very nice exterior. Entrance is way too expensive. Do check the cafeteria, and once you are there get to the far right and you will enjoy a bit of the indoor architecture.

The space is gorgeous and extremely unique. Unfortunately, I got tickets to a show, where there was an hour of presentations before the music ever began - I would have expected the ticket sellers to have mentioned that about the show.

Remarkably beautiful building that offers a wide range of music events, from pop and rock concerts to classical music. It's worth seeing, and there is also a café which you can access even if you don't have tickets for an event. It's definitely worth looking at its façade as well, there's Art Nouveau decoration all over it as well as sculptures and all!

This palace of Catalan music is a work of art. It was designed by a Catalan star architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and inaugurated in 1908 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Over the years it has hosted thousands of concerts and is still very active as a concert hall for all types of music. Nowadays it is the most lavish place in Barcelona to go and watch Flamenco. They have great shows on here at least twice per week. Obviously not the typical place for that style of music, it's not from Catalunya, but you do get a 2 for 1 offering, both the music and a wonderful building. There is a somewhat short paid tour of the building available several times daily if you want to know more about it and its history. If you don't want to pay for getting inside you can actually just go to the café instead. You won't get to see the hall itself, with its amazing stained glass roof, but you will get to see some of the architect's unique designs, ideas and principles, and if you want to, the toilets. Btw, those are for free and you don't have to buy anything to use them.

Very recommended. We wnebt to a Spanish guitar and flamenco, it was very authentic and great fun! The tour itself is also very interesting.

A fascinating concert hall. Acoustic, interior decoration and all other things were excellent.
