"We have this idea that if we are just cruel enough and mean enough and tough enough to people with addiction, that they will suddenly wake up and stop, and that is not the case," she tells Fresh Air's Terry Gross.

"Ok so I don’t know what the plot is or who is in it other than Alexander Skarsgard and Alexander Skarsgard’s magnificent holy abs. I don’t know what the dialogue or acting is like or whatever.
But like 1/3 of the way in Alexander Skarsgard is going to fight a gorilla for some reason and he takes off his shirt and OMG LIKE I ACTUALLY GROANED LOUDLY.
He does not put his shirt back on for the whole movie.
And like The V. sweet mother Mary the V I am telling you. The v is worth $15. The V is worth so much I wanted to see the movie again straight afterward.
Did I say that he doesn’t put his shirt back on?"

"Communities need routine opportunities for people of many backgrounds to have dialogue with each other and with police, have a voice in decision making and work together for stronger communities.

Trust is broken, and safety is compromised, when people experience inequitable law enforcement. Residents may think the police are prejudiced and enforce policies unfairly. Police may feel blame for all kinds of social problems, and think they don't get credit for doing their jobs. Meanwhile, our society wrestles to balance protection of civil liberties and public safety.

Opportunities for dialogue and action involving residents and police will lead to better relationships, more equitable treatment by the police, greater police responsiveness and accountability, and greater willingness of residents to work with police. Communities will be safer for everyone."

A beautiful song. And a wonderful act of public art.

She stopped two shooters from stealing her bus and shooting up a school.
The police managed to stop both the heavily armed white loonies who were waving guns around, without shooting or killing them. Good for the police! It just shows that the police can subdue armed suspects without killing them. If they want to.
