Hi, great work so far :) I checked out 0.4 on E18 Alpha yesterday. I still wasn't able to paste text with [shift] + [insert] like in xterm. Pasting text works with middle click/two-finger-tap, but is there a way to make terminology behave like xterm in that case?
We ask people to test builds and functionality at this stage in preparation for full release. Of course there will be bugs, and this is the point at which to weed them out. Please file bug tasks on http://phab.enlightenment.org and we will address them as best as possible for release. Future Alpha and Betas will come.
Enlightenment is not just a window manager for Linux/X11 and others, but also a whole suite of libraries to help you create beautiful user interfaces with much less work than doing it the old fashioned way and fighting with traditional toolkits, not to mention a traditional window manager. It covers uses from small mobile devices like phones all the way to powerful multi-core desktops (which are the primary development environment).
