How about displaying tags as inline buttons when choosing tags to be added to an article? Would enable less scrolling and faster usage.

Robert VASILE: sry, but there's no interaction pattern in modern & esp. in mobile ui/ux design that would justify the addition of a horizontal list of uneven elements, no matter the purpose
Merike Sell: So, you're obviously very fixed on having a vertical list or even elements or both. How about other changes to tag list? Say, ordering based on previous usage (recent first or popular first) either by default or configurable? Current list is not usable in a convenient way as soon as you have more tags than your screen can fit. It doesn't help that the list even displays tags used once long time ago. Surely Pocket can offer a better UI?
Robert VASILE: so you actually need pintrest :))))) i'll "fix" my case to rest
