Is Google Plus ever going to work with SwiftKey X? It never shows predictions/corrections when I'm posting from my phone.

So I finally have some other design work to show aside from the work I do for Android and Me! I'm really excited to be working on wedding invitations for my friends, +Kat Roberts and +Keivan Askari and I finally made a breakthrough on their monogram.

We thought a Dia de los Muertos theme would be fun and fitting for their personalities, and I'm doing it in a way where it stays really light-hearted and really look celebratory, but also be fitting for how important a wedding is.

For their monogram, since they both have a K as their first initial, I thought it'd be really fun to combine two K's to make one uniform (but still clearly made up of two) mark. I think this captures the personality I was thinking of, though I still want to clean it up quite a bit to make it more clean for a wedding.

There was another I had that I liked quite a bit, but it looked a little stodgy. I think they both are too fun and non-traditional to have too serious and formal of a look. I still think these invitations will definitely look formal enough, though, and not be too far on the other end of the spectrum. It'll be easier to tell that, though, once I have it with all of the other art.

What do you guys think? Kat or Keivan, feel free to let me know if you have other ideas.

I was sort of proud of how much smoother I was able to make this guy, even though I know he is still pretty blurry. I had to blow up the image for a vehicle wrap, so you can imagine how much larger that would be. Considering, I just wanted to share because I haven't done retouching work in awhile, and I was happy with the slight amount of trickery I was able to pull off, haha.

Thanks! I tried another layer on top with different settings, but that sounds like it'll work a lot better.

This comic is always fun to make, but I like doing it just every once in awhile when we have a good idea so that it doesn't feel forced. This one has gotten the most comments of all the ones I've ever done! Haha. It was also one of my favorites to make.

I know I have shared what our "super heroes" look like on the site, but I just wanted to mention that I'm excited that we decided to do all reviews in this manner. There are still a few things I'd like to do to make the reviews look a little more traditionally editorial, like adding in some pull quotes, using one or two more fonts, and more things I don't want to get into to not spoil it, (or make Clark angry since he always has to evaluate what really gets implemented, haha).

Anyway, just wanted to share, and say I look forward to displaying the guys' photos in this way.

Since I had practically no time before the wedding for many creative bridal portraits, and I'm sad about selling my dress soon, I'm going to get some more shots taken in it, so I'm glad I know where to get these to help with that! Stupid florists charging hundreds of dollars for things. This was $8.99.

I gave another review near the time of their grand opening. It was really unfavorable, because despite the excellent quality of the food, the service was deplorable (not an exaggeration, read some other reviews). However we gave them another chance and they had corrected their mistakes by having an actual hostess who sat us right away, an attentive server who wasn't over-committed and we got our bill in a normal amount of time. The food didn't need fixing, my husband and I both enjoyed our meals. Still a bit pricey (I wouldn't go there for drinks), but great food nonetheless.

Very friendly people that can create large custom stamps (user submitted files, not just a custom name/address that is injected into a preconceived design). I asked about size limits and it seemed like at least 5 inches was possible, so maybe even larger is possible. It's made out of clear acrylic and leaves a very crisp impression. Prices are very reasonable. They also sell ink pads, though I think they mostly just have standard black. They are very helpful and happy to answer questions. When I called Abbey Printing, they seemed a little busy and not thrilled to have to help inform, and they can only get sizes up to 3x4. They are good too, though, (I've used them in the past), but City was closer and more personable.

My favorite dish is the BBQ chicken - so good. One time I loved the green beans, another time they seemed overcooked and so garlicky, for what it's worth. A favorite guilty pleasure is the fried pickles, though the ones at Texas Roadhouse are a bit better in my opinion. Potato salad is great too. They have a good variety of food, so it isn't just standard bar food. The atmosphere is really nice outdoors with the string lights and overall feels cozy. When it's packed, parking can be a bit of a pain, because the lot isn't the largest, but it's not a huge issue.

I used Abbey Printing a couple times years ago. They produce great stamps and overall provide good service. I only dinged them a little on service because I called recently to ask about capabilities for a new project, and I felt like I was being polite, but it seemed like I was annoying them and they didn't have time for two questions. Maybe they were just slammed, in which case, good for them. I also was a little disappointed that their stamps could only be as large as 3x4. I know it isn't common to need one larger than that, but I did and it would have been nice to have the option.

The owner is extremely knowledgeable and can direct you through what you want to know. They get fresh seed in every week or so and the birds love it. We got a feeder from here that is dove and squirrel proof, which helps cut down on how often you have to replenish the seed. It's a small store, but they have a good range of products. Prices are reasonable, not sure why there are 3 $ signs.

Flavor was really not good overall. My husband's broccoli was closer to brown than green, and my meal was too heavily doused in an unappetizing sauce to enjoy any of the vegetables. I didn't go inside since we were getting the food to go, but my husband said the decor seemed like a Pei Wei ripoff. Eat Shu Shu's instead. Oh and the egg rolls were surprisingly huge. Everything tasted very store bought.
