I was strongly considering a trip to the property, but the lack of rebuttals to bad comments make the complaints seem legit. For dirt cheap prices, I don't expect the best; but if I have to worry about shooting intruders or petty car break ins....

I would have to agree. The apartments may seem a little run down in some places of the property but their staff is great and friendly lived there for 15 months. Any problems I had they were on top of it with maintenance issues. Parking is reasonable you can get a close parking to the entrance to your apartment with the way the cite is designed. I have had noisy neighbors and only took once to tell the management. They are constantly keeping up with the landscape. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Just all around they definitely have good management.

I had a two bedroom apartment here about a year ago and I knew going in it wasn't going to be the Ritz. However, I was not expecting to be living a floor above a trash-strewn condemned apartment where a family of stray cats were the primary residents. The main draw for me was the opportunity to save a bit of money by living in a more modest complex, however the energy bills often ate into any possible savings due to the incredible inefficiency of the units. I paid more for cooling in a two bedroom unit than I did for a full three bedroom house. If you're looking for a cheap place you can keep under 78 degrees in the summer without breaking the bank you should look somewhere else. The units are really showing their age and I wasn't expecting them to be pristine. But, the level of disrepair was a little stunning (rusty screws protruding from my bedroom door, an apparent hack-job repair) . Also, following move-out the new landlord decided that I would foot the bill for the carpet replacement, even though the carpet was not new when I moved in and a carpet cleaning would have removed any light stains which may have been present. Like most of the reviews you'll find I also thought the front office staff were nice and cordial. Unfortunately they do not properly supervise the maintenance staff or regulate other renters who violate the lease agreements, resulting in aggressive dog breeds being common, uncleaned graffiti, little-to-no pest control (wasps especially), and trash strewn throughout the neighborhood. So yes, the office staff is nice and cordial, but you'll only find them in the office and never out doing the job of running a complex. The neighbors were generally nice, however there were a few times when I was privy to some fights between upstairs tenants and late weeknight hangouts right outside my window. I guess it comes with the territory when you live in an apartment, so I cant complain about it too much. Overall, I would NOT recommend this complex as it is just in too bad a condition to warrant the price you pay in both rent and extra energy costs. Not to mention the price the landlord will make you pay to renovate your unit for whoever's moving in next.

An excruciating experience. When is the end of the contract?

I have loved living in these apartments. The management, staff, and maintenance employees are very friendly and helpful. As a single woman moving out into an apartment for the first time, I was nervous; however, it has been an all around great experience. The neighbors are friendly and the property has been getting upgraded. I would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment.

I've lived in SA for 2 yrs. This my 3rd. This the best. Staff is responsive. In door wash machine and dryer . In interior is beautiful with neutral colors and carpet. Apt in back have fantastic view of lake with a small island. No crime as far as I know - actually someone did steal my dolly from my terrace. But honestly for a renter , it doesn't get much better than this.
