Marques why are we skipping 2k? is the difference between 1080p and 2k just not large enough for people to think about it?
We've had 2k for a LONG time, its called 1080p ;) 2k just means that the display has 2000 pixels in width, which is 1920 roughly, and 4k is 4000 in width, which is 3840 roughly. I think you are referring to 2.5k right? the 1440p and 1600p monitors, those have been around for a long time too, so 4k is the logical step forward.
