I was craving sweet potato fries after the Snowbomb festival last weekend. My roommate suggested Roam. I ended up getting a veggie hamburger. It was a bit pricy (around $14 total), but it's Cow Hollow and all the ingredients were fresh. The veggie patty is comparable to the one at Plant, but I enjoyed the one at Roam better. The sweet potato fries were good too. I was stuffed for the rest of the day. What I like is that the burgers are customizable, but they also have a set of signature burgers. It may be hard to get a table, or seating in the long communal table, if the line is really long.

My office ordered Roam for lunch today. I got The Classic (beef burger, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles) and tried my coworkers' zucchini onion, sweet potato, and russet fries. The burger was good, but could have been juicier and more flavorful. Also, way too much lettuce. Fries were good - zucchini onion was my favorite, though they are hard to eat without a fork. I'd take Super Duper over Roam any day.

I freaking love Roam. Its close, decently priced and has great customer service. The burgers are pretty standard, but have a few great options in terms of Bison and turkey for the patties. They are tasty!

Nom nom nom! Love the cool, laid back, yet somehow classy ambiance of this burger joint. I also love that I can order still get my beef patty on if I don't want to order a burger because their salads come with the option of add three slider patties. To make up for the lack of carbs from said bunless slider patties, I order the "Fry-fecta", which is a trifecta of russet potato fries, sweet potato fries, and fried zucchini and onion "haystack".

This is probably the best value on Union Street. Packed from 5-8 it illustrates the real scarcity of reasonable go- to places. Being from LA I still have a soft spot for Umami, but the SF version is more stuffy and a bit overpriced. The burgers here are top notch, the self serve water and vibe actually is fairly efficient, though getting the attention of the staff after you order is somewhat of a problem when you decide to have a small shake or second beer. My only gripe is the bar has a TV which no one watches, it would be nice to remove that and make a more chill space.

Great old town environment feel, good for families and anyone else. Small and quality, tastes great and good selection of a mixture of good tasting (healthy sounding) food. Put this review because I personally had to ask the staff the music they were playing because it was to my liking. Great food and great people, order, sit down, a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

I want to give this place 100 stars. Online ordering was easy and my food was ready right on time. As long as you are not vegan or lactose intolerant, get yourself a milkshake. You deserve it. Your body needs it. I highly recommend combining the coffee and chocolate into one deliciously creamy mocha milkshake. One of the best turkey burgers I have ever had as well.
