This is the worst restaurant in San Francisco. The place smells especially in the back areas. The food is very poor and not a good bargin for your money. And to top it off the help is very unfriendly. There are several other restaurant that serve BBQ I would try one of them and stay away from this place. I grew up in Memphis and this is not Memphis style BBQ.

BBQ in everystyle you can imagine. The Texas Beef Brisket is my top pick with a little bit of their mustard sauce. There are a number of different options. The plates get a little expensive at $20+ for a beef brisket plate with 2 sides and corn muffin, but they can feed 2 average people’s appetite. With southern pies to top off your meal, you are sure to quench your comfort food cravings.

if you're in the mood for some good southern bbq, this is your place. lots of good sides, fun feel, and the ribs + bbq of course. everything is made in-house, including sauces. get the sweet potato pie + banana puddin'!

I had a hankering for BBQ one evening and I found this place on my grub hub app. The menu looked pretty normal for a BBQ joint so I thought I'd try it out. I was pretty pleased with the quality of food. I wonder if I ate in the restaurant if my portions would have been larger. I did pay around $40 and I thought there should have been more food in my box. I also wish there were more sauces included because I didn't really like the 2 they provided, too spicy for my taste. But overall the meat was delicious and I would like to try it out again at the restaurant.

one of the few consistent BBQ spots in SF. Its a shame the owner passed away in late 2013(RIP Bob Kantor). But his legacy lives on with his delicious and juicy brisket, ribs and other meats you can buy by the pound. They also offer daily special sandwiches like the porchetta on Sundays.come hungry because you'll be leaving with the meat sweats.

My companion questioned the Hygiene of the tables and utensils, but it could easily be hard water residue. Food is served quick without sauce pre-applied which is a fantastic quirk that I wish all BBQ places followed. Deliciousness will vary based on your past experiences: Brisket wasn't great, but the rib tips were amazing. Really enjoyed the corn muffin. Sweet smoked pork was quite good, beans were good, Mac & cheese left a little to be desired (improved dramatically with your choice of BBQ sauce). 4 MicroBrews on tap, nothing too fancy. Fountain drinks. No question I'll be back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

SO GOOD. I salivate over their tri-tip plate. Paper towel rolls on the table in true southern bbq fashion and delicious table sauce to pour over your meat of choice.
