From Heinlein to Hunger Games: The Enduring Popularity of Young Adult Science Fiction...

Bestselling science fiction aimed at young adults is nothing new. Reading The Hunger Games made me immediately think of the Heinlein “juveniles” of the 1950s, specifically the 1955 novel Tunnel in the Sky.

At Aionios Books, we are fans of young adult fiction. The young adult genre allows authors to write books for the large teen market that also appeal to adults, because, despite being fun reads, they are capable of addressing universal and serious themes in a mature way.
