If your Moto G 2013 stuck in bootloop after updating to Android 5 Lollipop, here are some ways to help you get out of bootloop
If your Moto G 2013 stuck in bootloop after updating to Android 5 Lollipop, here are some ways to help you get out of bootloop and get your phone ready for daily use. A bootloop means your phone stuck indefinitely on the boot animation logo. Normally, firmware update will not cause any issue, but if you have not followed the instruction carefully, you might end up with a non-booting system. If you have tampered KNOX security system on your Samsung Galaxy device, you will lose your device’s service warranty.
If you have tampered KNOX security system on your Samsung Galaxy device, you will lose your device’s service warranty. Though KNOX status cannot reset to default value once it is changed, you have to consider KNOX Status when it comes to warranty claims. +Jaden Keuten I agree with you on that. Completely useless for the people that use these devices for personal use. If I worked for the government and used my personal (KNOX bloated) device to view and send work emails, then I could see it being useful. But I don't, and never will.

Moto X (2013) is Undergoing the Lollipop Soak Test

About today's Moto X news frenzy :-)

I will try to address the hundreds of questions I'm getting at once here:

1) is it true that the user test phase started for the original Moto X? Well, that was supposed to be a secret, but who am I kidding, this is the internet, and as per the screenshots and articles out already, you know it's true.

2) what Android version is it going to get? 5.0.2

3) what about 5.1? There are no plans for it yet. When any decision is made, I'll let you know.

4) I have opted in to be part of it, but did not get the invitation, why? I don't know why. I know that not all volunteers get picked, but that's managed by another team, I have no clue about what criteria is used.

5) if the message you got indicated that if you need to reset your phone, do it before you get the push: then do it ASAP! Don't forget to backup your stuff. If you reset after you get the OTA push, you won't get the push anymore.

the 6th is not a question to be answered, it's a maxim: contacting me privately won't give you any advantage, especially if I've never seen or talked to you before. I'll simply ignore your message.

Thank you all! Enjoy your weekend!

Cheers!

UPDATE: scratch #5, apparently that's being misinterpreted from the Portuguese message.

This moto x is the first time I haven't had the need to do a custom ROM. Getting a bit ancy for the lollipop update, but I won't go custom until they declare it won't get any more updates or I know that the special moto features will work.

Losing or corrupt IMEI/NVRAM data means you will not be able to use your device with any mobile network.
If yours is a Mediatek chipset based Android smartphone, such as Android One and while experimenting with custom ROMs or making any modification in the system, you may accidentally lose NVRAM data. NVRAM is responsible for your phone’s IMEI and network connection data, so losing or corrupt NVRAM data means you will not be able to use your device with any mobile network. In this guide, we will show you how to backup and restore NVRAM/IMEI on Med...
