If you want to try your hand at being a graphic designer, then look no further than a really neat online service called Snappa.
Sign up for an account, choose a template as a starting point, then adapt, tweak, complement and edit it until it looks the way you want.
It's a great way to produce brochures for your business, plus adverts and flyers and so on.
Snappa offers a number of account plans, starting with a completely free plan that still gives you access to thousands of templates and lets you download your finished work. Give it a try and see what you can create.

This weeks wallpaper is a mountain hillside reflected in a mist and fog filled river valley. Soft shades of blue ranging to lavender and pink soften the outlines of hills on either side of the still river. A line of trees and a shoreline add some contrasting sharper llines to an otherwise ethereal scene. Icons show up quite well even in the lighter parts of this background.

ZonePDF is an online service that does lots of handy conversions. For example, give it a big PDF file and it'll convert it into a zip file of images. You can also convert Word and PowerPoint to PDF, and loads more options too.
The service appears to be free, but you'll need to sign up for an account. There appears to be an implication that you only need to sign up if you want to do more than 2 conversions, but that wasn't the case when I tried it. So if you can't get the conversions to work, sign up. That should fix it.

Updated: Best Free Media Player
I've done some major research to find alternative media players capable of playing multiple types of media files, including various digital audio and video formats, CDs, and DVDs. They are also easy to install and use and are light on system resources. Not only do these programs replace WMP, iTunes and WinAmp, but they also exceed their functionality.
Check out Tips and Warnings at the end of this article.
