Sweet giveaways. You know you want some.
Labyrinth Lord Core Rule Book Give Away

Hey guys. To thank +Joe Johnston for promoting me from moderator to now owner of the Labyrinth Lord G+ community, I would like to do something to give back to this great community.

As such, I will be giving away a branch new, physical copy of the Labyrinth Lord Core Rule Book to a lucky G+ member.

If you would like to enter into this contest there are two things you need to do. The first and most important it to SHARE this post to your public G+ profile. The second is to comment in this thread as to what your favorite thing about Labyrinth Lord is.

I will randomly draw a winner only from those who do the two things above. Drawing will take place on Tuesday June 12, 2018.

Good luck....

All,

As he has been doing all the work for a while now, I'm handing this channel over to +Antonio Bravo. I will still poke my head in as needed.

May all your rolls be natural 20s.

Cheers.

Too good not to share.

This is a beekeeper's outfit from the 1600s. It is on display at Plimouth Plantation.

When people buy a hardcopy of my stuff, it makes me happy.

It's not about the money (the margins are thin), but that I know people will get a pretty thing to dream on.

At least, that's why I buy RPG books.

Why is How to Hexcrawl Pay What You Want?

1. It is a primarily a rules clarification of material from Labyrinth Lord in consultation with Molvay/Cook's B/X rules. I intended no plagarism, but there is little actually new content there (aside from some of the getting lost rules) that I personally contributed

2. The art work was nearly all public domain, with contributions from +Dyson Logos

3. The final manuscript was vetted by the Labyrinth Lord Google + community

4. I want this material in as many people's hands as possible. The wilderness rules are confusing to many and I hope I can reduce the confusion a bit

While I put a lot of time into this project, much of it comes from the work of other people. I would feel dirty charging real money for a product under those circumstances.

I do keep threatening to write another volume of these rules that greatly expands on what is presented here. That will involve not just more free time than I currently have, but somewhere between $1000 - $2000 dollars in production costs.

So do grab a copy of Hexcrawl if you haven't. Money is always appreciated, but leaving a written review on rpgnow.com is even more helpful.

+James Raggi I just used a hard cover edition of Towers Two to kill a hornet.

I thought you should know that your efforts are making the world safer.

HEY HEY HEY HEY!

I NEED YOUR HELP:

If you have downloaded How to Hexcrawl, please chime in below to tell me if the PDF you got appeared to open correctly for you and was readable.

We'll get to content issues another day.

I've got a complaint that the PDF was locked and missing fonts.

Is this a thing that has been happening and no one has told me?

Thanks,
