Best Thai food in Middletown! That sucks what happened to the previous reviewer - can't say I've had the same experiences. For me, this staff here are super-friendly (one woman, I think she's the owner, even has a vibrant sense of humor) but the food is what really sets this place apart from the others. Some of the flavors they use in their dishes are incredibly unique. They also offer a bit of Vietnamese and Chinese fusion on the menu, but I haven't tried anything other than the Thai dishes. I'm going there for Thai, not Chinese... :)

The prices went up, the quality went down. For 20.00 plus dollars the duck w/red curry was lacking in quality and quantity. Much was done to make a profit on a cheap dish. The duckmeat was alright, the curry watery and the vegetables uninspiring, broccoli, a few strands of sweet peppers and a side of white rice. Been going for several years and see the quality go down. Wo't go for the duck dishes any longer, if I continue to go and I alike Thai food.

One of my personal favorite restaurants, and by far the best Thai restaurant around. I probably eat here at least once a week. The food is awesome, I've never had anything bad here, and the waiters/waitresses are super sweet.

Good for dinning in and take out. Which is sometimes hard to find. dice dishes very reasonable prices.

My son lives in Middletown and liked this restaurant so my wife and I drove up to meet him there on a weekday evening. Before we could even taste the food we encountered a problem with the service. The young woman who was serving our area did not make eye contact at all, even as she served other people nearby. We kept expecting her to stop and bring water but nothing. I should add that we are a mixed couple and although this happened to us once in the south, we were unprepared to encounter this in a THAI restaurant in CT since we'd been to many around the state. Every time the waitress walks by us my son is looking like he wants to say something. Finally after 20 minutes, he gets up and goes over to the older waitress serving the other area and she comes over mumbling something about being busy and never even acknowledges making us wait although she seated us. She had just welcomed a huge table of Wesleyan students who also came after we did. If my son had not gotten up to speak to her directly we probably would not have been served I guess. The food was OK but this incident happening in 2015 left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. I left a zero tip. Maybe this only happens to some people, but if you're a shade darker than Thai, you take your chances getting served in this place.

It's okay here. Some of the food is alright. The pad Thai is good; the Ladna is the absolute worst I've ever tasted. The prices are a bit steep too.
