TWO Questions:
1) I'm still in Lesson 4 with my kids. Are we moving too slowly? They're having fun, just not sure how much to push them to work independently at home, given they are "beta testers" working a pilot course.

2) I loaded the black filament into a 2nd printer, and when it's printing, it doesn't stick to the plate. This happened with another printer last week also using black filament. I abandoned that printer because I was getting frustrated and then thought to re-load it with the white filament to see if it's my printer, the filament, or my karma.

Any pointers on either question would be super helpful. My next session with the kids is tomorrow!

I like a student-AS-teacher centered classroom, so one of the best practices I have for any project or strategy I'm piloting is to have a small cohort of students who are my "super-squad". They learn with me and then we follow an "Each One, Teach Two" model. What this looks like for the 3D printing class is 5 seniors who are Architecture Academy students who will then each be responsible for the learning at 1 of 5 tables in my classroom.

Please consider giving to this project and my students at Fremont High. If monetary donation is not possible at this time, we definitely appreciate all the well wishes and good karma you can send our way!
