Great place to taste a variety of scotch. With a really cool area for groups at the bar in the back. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. I came on a Gilt City offer, and the dish I liked the best was that Carbonara pasta.

Scottish through and through. Tartan accents throughout and stacked stone walls. Good cocktails at the bar in the back and comfortable seating to enjoy them in a little old world getaway.

Blackboard Eats recently offered a 30% discount for Mary Queen of Scots. And what luck, it came just in time for girl-date. In terms of ambiance, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of bathrooms I would give this place an A+. My only concern was fearing that like the total klutzball I am, I'd knock over one of the small votive lights in the restroom that were placed in a cluster on the floor, right next to the door. The cauliflower soup deliciously warmed my belly on a slightly damp night and there wasn't scrap of the Roasted Pollock left. I had to clean my plate, Yelp. The combination of fish, mashed potato, and Kohlrabi-radish salad won me over. Paired with a few Bonny Prince Charlies (a delightfully fizzy cocktail that sweetly, but sneakily, packs a punch) the outing did not disappoint.

My sister in law had a private party and it went very well. A lot of people showed up and the staff were very attentive to what we wanted and needed. As much money as she spend I would've been surprised if they didn't.
