How could President Woodrow Wilson have simultaneously been quite devout, and almost totally unreflective about his faith? Barry Hankins explains in his new biography of the 28th president.

"Wayne Grudem, Evangelicals, and the Trump Option" | my column today at TGC https://blogs.thegospelcoalition.org/evangelical-history/2016/08/02/wayne-grudem-evangelicals-and-the-trump-option/
Wayne Grudem may be the most serious evangelical yet to say that Christians should vote for Trump. Is he right?

Many modern preachers have found the Book of Hebrews' comments on Melchizedek perplexing. But Melchizedek was in the preaching wheelhouse of Jonathan Edwards, the great pastor-theologian of Northampton, Massachusetts.

This is not the 'hipster' side of Marfa, but a solid local Mexican joint. We had the "Encharitos' which was the daily special ($7) and was well worth it. I liked the red sauce slightly better than the green, but both were good. The interior is dark with a lot of neon, and loud, eclectic radio station playing. Waitresses were friendly and helpful, but a bit overwhelmed during lunch hour.

We ate here on a Sunday when they had a buffet, $11 for adults but only $5 for kids (wish they had told us that for kids, but oh well). We didn't want that much, so we mostly ordered a la carte Mexican items - excellent green chile enchiladas and combo burrito, like the sort of food you would expect in someone's home. Tacos were good, a little greasy. Service was leisurely, but not negligent.

A great place to take your kids for dinner while in Philly. Delicious burgers and hotdogs, and the cake shake is fantastic. A perfect way to cap off an evening at Franklin Square.
