Vitality Vitamin Water

There are plenty of expensive sugary, coloured waters out there that most often come in plastic bottles- #strike one for dubious health claims, #strike two for potential impact on health and #strike three for potential environmental hazards!

Well I suppose you've heard the old saying..."three strikes and you're out?"

Why pay a fortune for something manufactured that may have less than healthy effects on your body?

The trouble is, everyone knows that there's nothing better for you than pure water but I have real trouble drinking plain water when I'm working out, or even throughout the day!

So… I wanted to try making a drink of my own that's light and fruity but not sugary...and I did!

Here's how to make super refreshing Vitality Water full of vitamins and antioxidants-Perfect!

Directions

• Huge glass jug the bigger the better that can be stored in the fridge.
• Fill 3/4 full with pure distilled or filtered water. (Try to get one that removes fluoride)
• Add combinations of fruit to your taste.
• For a unique taste and added health benefits add herbs. (Pop some in a muslin bag first or straight in, then strain before drinking.)
• Toss in some filtered water ice cubes.
• Top up with water right to the top.
• Leave covered overnight in the fridge for the fruits to filter their juice into the water.
• Will keep for a couple of days in the fridge.

Fruits and veg great for #vitamin  water

• Oranges, lemons, limes, watermelon, peaches, berries, strawberries, cucumber, kiwi, pineapple, apple, ginger. Just mix and match!

Herbs you might like to try-

• lavender, mint, rosemary, basil, sage and chamomile.

My fave combos are-

• Oranges, lemons and ginger.
• Lemon, lime and mint.
• Apples, cucumber and mint.
• Berries and sage.
• Raspberry and lime.
• Pineapple and mint.
• Strawberry, watermelon and rosemary.
• Grapefruit, orange and mint.

Go on...give it a try!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour & catch the trade winds in your sails.

In an amazing piece of raw footage taken Tuesday from a CamTran city bus in Johnstown, Pa., cameras catch the moment a whitetail deer hurtles through a bus windshield, startling the driver

Gyro-stabilized 2 wheel vehicle stays up when parked and even dragged sideways.

Will this technology ever make it to motorcycles?

Public Semi-Transparent Toilet

It is impossible to see into the toilet, which is free to use, but the person inside can see passers-by. An artist has created this usable public toilet in a glass cube to challenge the curiosity and bravery of people passing London's Tate Britain gallery. Visitors have to "defy their own embarrassment" to use the minimalist cubicle, made from one-way mirrored glass.

Introduction
I have several things that i am proud of, I have lived more of life then most people twice my age have, and it has been both a blessing and a curse at times. I could talk about how my youth and upbringing was full of hardship but a wise man once said "what doesnt kill you makes you stonger" its how you take the hardships that makes you a survivor or a victim. I had the love of a great Mother to comfort me while i found my way and she is dearly missed but not forgotton. I have been married twice and i have learned much from both of them, and at most times i enjoyed the journey. I have had the privilege to help mold the minds of 5 great children and to sire one of them. I have been so lucky to have found the most caring, loving, understanding and tolerent women to share my journey with for the last 16 years. She is the rock that keeps me strong and hopeful for the future. With more past behind me then future ahead i hope the best is yet to come.
Bragging rights
I am proud of the fact that i spent 12 years of my life as a member of the Canadian Forces. During this time i saw a lot of the world and met a lot of great people. I have played semi pro baseball, and international level volleyball. I have owned 2 sucessful business. I have raced stockcar and motocross. I was one of the first 10 people in Canada to Bungee jump. I am a certified skydiver and qualified rescue scuba diver. I have advanced driver training and specialty security training.

As you can expect Tim's Hortons coffee is great, but that's because the coffee comes prepackaged and it would be pretty hard to screw it up. Unfortunately I can't say the same for anything that has to be made by the staff here, because they are so concerned about getting as many customers through as quickly as they can that they are no longer concerned about delivering a great quality product or experience. I go here everyday and i hate to say it but they rush you through so fast that they couldn't make a decent bagel to save their lives. So if you want to make sure the food you order is good and correct i recommend you go inside to order and the make them redo it if it's wrong and maybe they will learn that that you have to sacrifice some speed for good service.

Atmosphere is ok but it was a little empty for a Friday night...but after the slow service and poor food quality I'm not surprised. We had to send back a steak because a med steak came still kicking. After we sent it back we waited 10 min to get back the same steak well the rest of the food got cold and guess what no bill correction for the poor product....Wont be back to bad...!

I bowl here regularly and it's always a great time. Good prices and the staff are very friendly. Friday night laser bowl is a great alternative to the bar or pub scene and drink prices are fair.
