W.S. Cumby, in a joint venture with Costanza Builders, provided construction management services for the Lakeside Graduate Student Community at Princeton University. (Photo courtesy of MGA Partners Architects) The Shipley School’s Student Commons and Arts Center achieved LEED Silver certification by the US Green Building Council, joining a growing list of 1,850 K-12 projects and 36,000 Commercial projects that have been certified across the country. Construction recently commenced for the restoration and renovation of the historic Stoneleigh Mansion in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Set on a pristine 42-acre property in Lower Merion Township, the 19,075 SF Mansion was originally built in 1877 and previously owned by the Haas Family. Stoneleigh Mansion will be renovated for the use by the Organ Historical Society who will relocate their headquarters and occupy the upper floors. Read more on our website: https://goo.gl/TdhlwX

W.S. Cumby, Builders and Construction Managers, recently completed general contracting services for the restoration of the historic Mansion building at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, Pennsylvania.

The Mansion building, a Tudor Revival-style estate designed by Theopilus P. Chandler, Jr. and later remodeled by Paul Philipe Cret, dates back to 1893 and was in need of repair and restoration on the exterior. With expertise in reviving historic structures on Philadelphia’s Main Line, W.S. Cumby was selected to manage a dedicated team of local preservation and restoration specialty subcontractors.
