Earlier this year, or maybe last year, the owner over at K Brew told me about The Blue Mason, a coffeehouse on the west side of Knoxville. I was heading east, and did not have time to backtrack, but today I finally had a chance to stop in.

They serve a local roaster that's new to me, Spero (pronounced "sparrow"), and the V60 of a medium-roasted Ethiopia Yirgacheffee was pretty good.

The place itself has a charming, homey feel, with plenty of tables, tall tables, outlets, and fast wi-fi.
