New Jersey is a large state, heavily populated, but so far I am finding it lagging in terms of good independent coffee. I could be wrong--maybe I've been looking in the wrong place. Regardless, after some asking around, I found Hidden Grounds in New Brunswick, which makes sense, as it is a college town.

They serve One Village on a regular basis, but also guest roasters. When I wisited, they had Verve, which I'm not in love with, so I tried the One Village and was disappointed.

Still, New Brunswick is along my regular travel route, and I expect to pop in again and again.
