Mom & Pop and Dolcezza have the same owners, and are right across the street from each other, within the Mosaic District. They are more focused on snacks and gelato, but they do offer Stumptown Coffee and hand brew using a Chemex.

Given the dearth of excellent coffee options in this Northern Virginia area, I was glad to stumble across these cafes and might make them my regular morning coffee stop instead of Caffe Amouri.

Stumptown is still towards the bottom of my list of indie roasters, but they are still miles ahead of Starbucks, and the Chemex brew that I got from Dolcezza was worth repeating.

Both spaces have fast wifi, but not a lot of space, nor a restroom. Dolcezza is smaller, but actually a better hangout because the restroom is around the corner next to the parking garage elewators.
