My first Oakland indie coffeehouse visit since I discovered Blue Bottle is Arbor Cafe, which serves coffee from Bicycle Coffee Co. The cafe is spacious, with plenty of electrical outlets, and an interesting contrast between the earth tones inside and the bright primary colors of the seats outside, but as for the coffee itself, prepared in a custom pour over dripper made by Bicycle, the roast profile didn't seem to do it for me.

Their lightest is actually a medium roast, from the Asobagri Cooperative, in Huehuetenango, Guatemla, and it just couldn't compare to something light Sightglass or Coava.
