I had been told that Edinburgh has a lot of artisanal coffee, but by the time I reached the city and wisited the remaining Starbucks, I was running low on time and could only make it to Brew Lab.

I was immediately please when saw the familiar bag for The Barn, and even more please when I saw that they were serving a natural processed coffee, an Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere. I've had a lot of good luck with natural process, and this Kalita brew continued that pattern.

I was in too much of a hurry to really take in the ambiance of Brew Lab, but I could tell that it was a lively place, busy, with a line most of the time I was there.

I imagine that when I return to Edinburgh, I'll want to see some other coffeehouses first, but I must return to Brew Lab at some point.
