Like many of the coffeehouses that I've encountered over the years, Indaba started out serving third party roasters, like Slate from Seattle, or Coava from Portland, but later switched to roasting their own.

I'm encountering them for the first time, and while the Fetco-brewed Nicaragua that I enjoyed at this downtown location was good, it did not knock my socks off.

Still, I like the look of the cafe, including the standing counter, outlets, and wifi, and I'd definitely come back here again to try the coffee. In fact, I might head over to their other location--they are charging just $1.50, the lowest price I've seen around the country, for an 8-oz cup!!!
