Dogwood's second location is quite a step up from their original space inside Calhoun Square, and when I walked in and saw that they share space with a furniture store, Forage, I was immediately reminded of Coava's space in Portland.

Unlike that space, coffeehouse patrons cannot sit and enjoy their coffee over in the other store's area, but the shared setup still gives Dogwood a sense of being larger.

Coffeewise, it had been a while since I had Dogwood, but the Kalita-brewed cup of a Guatemalan roast was excellent--this roaster definitely remains on my list of ones to seek out.

With wifi, outlets, standing tables, and parking just outside, I hope to make a return to Dogwood soon.
