Joe van Gogh did not come up when I searched for "Durham pour over coffee", and neither of the baristas at Respite mentioned these guys, so I wasn't expecting more than just a jolt of caffeine when I popped in on Saturday.

I was pleasantly surprised, however, to discover that their Ethiopia Sidamo, prepared in a Beehouse dripper, was pretty darn good.

The next morning I was in a hurry, so I had the batch brewed coffee, the Panama Camiseta, and it was almost as good as the hand-poured.

With Joe van Gogh, Respite, and Cocoa Cinnamon all in close proximity, central Durham is actually pretty decent for coffee.
