Introduction
People keep asking me how to get away with murder. I find the trick is to start by not broadcasting your intentions on the internet.

""Peace." Jordan?" - Lol.
I find that these lists of debunkings of X science theory are just evidence of the failure of people to listen at school. The lack of knowledge and inability to think rationally is amazing. From anti-vaxxers and anti-GM-ers to quantum woo and fairies: there really needs to be a reality bat we can beat people around the head with.

+Myles Power (powerm1985) I wrote a blog on a version of this article earlier this year. A version of the blog appeared as an article in Australian Skeptic Magazine. Pretty much ran through how to pick apart rubbish like this, in much the same way you've addressed this. Great minds and what-not.

My ass chapping annoyance, which relates to the point about exposition and trusting the audience, is that Hollywood is making movies for kids. Since PG13 there just doesn't seem to be as many smart movies, or movies that are aimed at adults.

You can have a big dumb action movie that is still aimed at adults. E.g. original RoboCop and Total Recall, vs the remakes that were facile and childish in comparison.

Hope they keep coming out with more in this line. I have their US Steel pedal and would love a Flyrig version of it.

I agree. I recently read a Jeffrey Deaver crime novel that was full of red herrings. It becomes annoying very quickly.

You've gotten some things right and so many parts wrong. I suggest reading the Genetic Literacy Project.

I wish I'd bought my set of rings earlier in my lifting career. They are such a great workout tool.

Thomas Jane was a good Punisher but was lumbered with a rubbish script and bad guys. The only part of the movie that was any good was lifted straight out of Garth Ennis' Punisher Max run (the fight with the Russian). But then Jane turned around and made the Dirty Laundry short that was f@#$ing awesome. Surprised +CineFix guys didn't mention that one. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWpK0wsnitc

The third attempt at a Punisher movie got some things right but then made a hash of other things. It was like the people making the film were b-grade hacks or something. The less said about the Dolph Lundgren version the better (I tried to rewatch it recently and it has aged badly, and it wasn't any good to begin with).
