Problem

According to the World Bank report, 41% of Sub-Saharan Africans are living in extreme poverty. Of the 420 million youth aged 15 to 35 in Africa today, the majority are unemployed or with vulnerable jobs. While the Africa is endowed with tremendous natural resources yet its citizens have not been able to significantly enter new large markets, create jobs and income generating opportunities for its citizens. A weak social entrepreneur support ecosystem has also been identified as one of the constraints to entrepreneurs’ growth.

Solution/strategy

We aim to support individuals and organisations start new or relaunch new initiatives, by providing them with business expertise such as talent acquisition, appropriate training, access to financing, mentorship, coaching, connection to market, promote networking opportunities to unlock entrepreneurs potential and create sustainable community change.

Our Model

Through workshops and radio discussions will shall inspire people to be more entrepreneurial with their careers, ideas, and organizations weather public, private or non-profits.

Entrepreneurs are also invited to attend our pitch competitions to a panel of judges, donors, and the local community.

To ensure that the organizations that we support grow we shall organize a three months fellowship whereby entrepreneurs are selected to turn their ideas into sustainable endeavors.

After the fellowship, we committed to develop a long-term relationship with our supported members, we join their staff meetings. We sit on their boards. We recruit new talent. We map out financial models.
