It's always about being healthy.  Just another list of foods that we already know are good for you.  Overall though, anything in moderation, except fried and processed (hotdogs/donuts) foods, can be good for you!!  And don't forget to always drink a glass of water before your meals!

Thank you all for your support, positivity and prayers.  I have opted to go with hospice care.  I was diagnosed with only a few weeks and this was the decision I have gone with. I just wanted to say thank you and I appreciate everything.  I love you all.

1 - we shouldn't litter
2 - Isn't glass recycled better then plastic?

I agree with moving forward till we find something better but at this point in time better don't seem to be here.  I maybe completely wrong but from my understanding glass bottles would be less harm on the environment recycled until the point a reasonable alternative is created.

From what I read there is no alternative, they just say you can't sell single plastic bottles.  I would be less negative on the story IF it said "you must switch to . . . . "

Save A Life, Recognize A Stroke: STR

I lost an aunt to a stroke recently, so this information has special significance to me. A high school classmate shared this on Facebook today and I thought I should share it with you all.

S Ask the individual to SMILE;
T = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (e.g. 'It is sunny out today');
R Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS."

Below posted on Facebook by Yash Ar, https://www.facebook.com/yashar1

You can Save someone's life by sharing this.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance)

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)
She had suffered a stroke at the party . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today.

Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this...

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster.
The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :

S * Ask the individual to SMILE ..
T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg 'It is sunny out today').
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

NOTE : Another 'sign' of a stroke is
1. Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue.
2. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this status shares it; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

And it could be your own.

Battle cancer!!!
Story
Introduction
I'm a cancer survivor and current fighter.  I am thoroughly self educated on cancer and possible causes.  I am really interested in organic cooking and using cancer fighting ingredients in every meal.

I'm into healthy eating and exercising.  It's all about sticking around to enjoy this world and everyone in it.  I keep negative people and situations out of my life.  It's too short not to be happy.

I believe that positivity plays such a huge role in our everyday lives.  Fight for happiness and life!!

Other than that I'm a normie.  I love anime and manga!!  I also love Android and Google+.  I like being out and about doing various things from just walking in the park to dancing it up at the club.  I'm a Denver Broncos fan!!!

I'm a Christian but not one of those crazy picketing Christians.  I believe in spreading love and kindness.  If you want to learn about Jesus feel free to ask me but otherwise I stay away from religious conversations.

I love all types of music but mostly listen to hip/hop and 90's rock!  I grew up on doo-wop and hippie music.  I didn't get into hip/hop until I heard Nas.  NIN will always be one of my favorite groups.  I'm still proud to say I was spit on by Trent Reznor ahaha.

I love movies.  I will watch almost anything except gore and sappy romantic movies.  I love musicals and I'm a sucker for anything with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in it haha.  I love old time black and white movies!!  I just think the scripts back then had a little more substance because they weren't wooing audiences with graphics, action and nudity.  My favorite movies to watch though are kung-fu/samurai movies.  I also really enjoy a good comedy movie though I'm so over that American Pie type of comedy movie.  I guess I'm getting old ahahha.

I guess that pretty much sums me up hahaha.  Positive attitudes are contagious so spread some around.

I really like this theater. My service is always fast and correct. I rarely have to wait. The prices are steep but very comprable to any other theater out there. The seats are comfy and it's never too hot or cold, which I tend to find a problem other places.

What can I say besides it's the sweetest place on earth. I always have a great time and never mind waiting in line because they really do move pretty fast. Last summer we were silly and had a western photo taken and it turned out really good. I highly recommend grabbing some chocolate chip cookies from Chocolate World before leaving. They are the best!

I enjoyed this place so much. The outdoor seating is great. I had the crab cake which had no filler at all. It came with cheesy risotto and carrots. They were both delicious, though it was an exceptionally large serving of risotto haha. The crab cake was amazing. The iced tea was crisp and clear and not heavy at all. I also had the pepper crab soup which was great and their rolls seem to be homemade, delicious. I was so happy with my meal here, I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant.

We ate here yesterday and I was really pleased with everything. Of course your normal Red Robin decor. But our waiter was great. Drinks were always filled, food was hot and he really went above and beyond and definitely earned the tip I gave him. Not only did he note we are a fat family and offer to bring us out fries before our meal came, he offered up their "special" sauces and even gave us a basket of their garlic fries. I only ate the ranch dressing which was really good in itself. And they were Free! What American doesn't jump at the word free! He was really personable and he didn't lie when he said I would enjoy the Fish and Chips. I usually don't order fish/seafood unless I'm at a place that specializes in that type of menu. I really do fear it being prepared wrong and getting sick off of it haha. Their fish was excellent! The outer crust was so crispy and not greasy to the touch and the fish inside was so delicate and smooth. Great flavor too! Oh, and the tartar sauce was awesome! Tartar sauce falls under the "either it's horrible or fabulous" there isn't an in between for me haha. This was really good too and I made sure to bring it home with the rest of my meal, yes, in true Red Robin form we got so much food I couldn't finish it. And I'm glad. Put that fish back in the oven and had a great dinner! Oh and let me not forget my Apple Fritters!! Dessert isn't something I make a habit of ordering. If I do I already plan on taking it home haha. These little bursts of apple pie were the perfect finish to my lunch. I only had one at the time because I had already stuffed myself with fries and fish, but these were so warm, and I can't even call them little. They were big for a dessert and I got a lot. And the warm caramel sauce that accompanied it was delicious! Just the perfect touch for it!

I will never ever go here again. The service is absolutely terrible and the food is nothing to brag about, not that I really had a choice in what I could order. The good things were the home-made fresh fries. The decor was very posh and sleek. Okay, here is the rest. I had to ask for everything: salt/pepper, sugar, refills, ketchup and the bill. They were out of pizza and chicken, which was half the menu and the menu was so limited to begin with it was ridiculous. I ended up with the All American Cheese-steak and my mom got the Jethro, which is a steak sandwich on supposed Texas toast but it definitely was not "toasted" more like buttered and grilled to melt the butter and their idea of "Texas Toast" is a bit confusing because it was the thinnest Texas bread I have ever seen. My cheese-steak was okay to say the least. It was definitely All-American made with cheese whiz and onions but I guess it wasn't meant to be served hot. Having to ask for every single thing was so annoying and our waitress took forever to do everything. I was just unhappy with the whole dining experience here and will never go back. Live and learn haha.

I don't want to underplay my actual meal so I will put this paragraph first because my meal was really good. The sauces were excellent and just the right amount of it too. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and observant and very nice and personable. The hostesses were sweet and held the door open for us when we left and gave us exiting courtesies. I ordered the Tour of Italy which includes Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna Classico and Veal Parmesan. The meal was great the bread sticks and salad were disappointing. There was none of the buttery sauce on my bread stick so it just tasted like plain bread and the salad which is half the reason we go there was limp and didn't even have enough dressing on it to taste. They put my Fettuccine Alfredo in between both of my tomato dishes so it's now Fettuccine Tomato Alfredo. It's still good but not what I ordered and expected. My waiter was great though. Got my drink with no ice, a dish of lemons instead of putting them right in my drink (I really do prefer this, because I don't always think they wash garnishes and I like to eye it up myself lol), he also was very prompt with our food being hot and our bill and getting me another knife because I sent mine back with my salad plate. So, the meal and services were awesome, just a few disappointments with the bread sticks and salad. But I would still recommend the Olive Garden for a place to go for a decent Italian meal. But then there's always Gabriela's hahaha.

I ate here last night for dinner. It was nice sitting out on the deck, especially since we had an umbrella at the table to block some of the sun. We had gone right around 4:30pm. Not too busy and not too empty. Our food service was fast and our waitress was really nice and brought me my drink 'no ice' just as I asked. We both got the new menu item Pork Ribeez. The meat was so tender it fell right off the bone. The only reason I even used my knife was probably out of habit haha. I got the mild sauce which was ok. It actually tasted like they took the hot sauce and blended it with bbq sauce. I wasn't really impressed with that and wish I would have gone with the smokey sauce. But, you live and learn. The coleslaw was really good. Just like I like it. I'm a total slaw-snob. It was chunky and just a hint of sweetness and chilled. I hate when they bring semi-warm slaw. The fries were hot and crispy. My plate def did not sit under a heat lamp. My iced tea was good too. Clear and light. Not heavy and filling. Overall, it was a good meal for my first time trying it. I would recommend going here for a fast and decent meal. Of course though with having the outside deck they also allow smoking but the area is pretty large and open so a few whiffs of smoke here and there I didn't think was enough to "smoke" anyone out. haha.
